Thanks for the comment. I will be back to DL & RL very soon. QC is just a “very” unexpected detour. I was just checking its development with machine learning. Since QC is very good at linear algebra. It can be handy for many machine learning algorithms.
There are a lot of challenges remained for QC. Some people believe the quantum computer needs to reach a million qubits before seeing its full potential. A few years ago, we are in single digit qubits, now we are close to a hundred for a general quantum computer. The way I see that is if we can solve a few couple problems that a classical computer cannot do, then all the efforts are worth it.
